Brian McInerney is the Senior Hydrologist and Climate Change Scientist with the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. He manages the water supply, flash flood, post wildfire debris flow, and climate change programs in the office. He has held this position in various formats for the past 30 years. He holds a masters degree from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, and an undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. He originally hails from Chicago, Illinois, and currently resides in Park City, Utah.
